Seoul, Korea – KBS 1TV’s daily drama series Smile Donghae’s main character, Ji Chang Wook (plays “Donghae”), has been appointed as the honorary ambassador for Donghae-si on the 25th, according to his agency Glorious Entertainment.

His agency disclosed, “In Smile Donghae, the main character was named Donghae by his father whose hometown was Donghae. This is why Donghae-si has appointed Ji Chang Wook as its honorary ambassador.”

The agency’s source continued, “We are expecting Donghae’s refreshing image in the popular drama series Smile Donghae, which has been receiving 40% audience ratings, to make the series a success and be an icon for Donghae-si.”

The production crew of the series is planning to film also in Donghae-si.
