Seoul, Korea – Former T.T.ma member Soy has formed a new duo band named Raspberry Field and released its first album.

Raspberry Field is a duo consisting of Soy and Jang Joon Sun. They initially appeared in various clubs in the HongIk University area and at such music festivals as the Pentaport Concert.

The new album consists of three tracks, including “Saturday Afternoon,” and Soy involved in creating both the lyrics and the music of their songs.

“Saturday Afternoon” has the lightest feeling among Raspberry Field’s songs. Soy received attention by doing a music video with actress Jung Ryeu Won in which they play two friends who spend their daily lives together.

Soy talked about how they named the duo Raspberry Field: “We will sing about the double-sidedness of life, as it offers both sweet and bitter moments, just like a raspberry, rather than only the sweet part, like a strawberry. We want to communicate and give comfort to people with our music.”

Raspberry Field will perform on various music broadcasts, including radio programs, and at festivals.
