Seoul, Korea – On July 24, Big Bang, the popular boy group, received the UN’s Global Unity Award at Asia-Pacific Global Tolerance with Music 2010. The music festival was held from July 23 to 25 at Osaka Universal Studios in Japan, and centered around the theme “the importance of peace and tolerance of differences.”

Big Bang received the award in recognition of the group’s past and present efforts to promote culture and social exchange internationally.
