Seo Ji Young joins cast of SBS¡¯s Daemul¡¦will play a couple with Cha In Pyo


Returns to TV three months after starring on the morning TV drama Daring woman

Seoul, Korea – Seo Ji Young is joining the cast of Daemul, set to air in October.

Daemul, based on the animation of the same name by Park In Gwon, tells of the story of ¡®Seo Hae Rim¡¯, who makes a name for herself as a civil rights lawyer then runs for President, in the end, through many circumstances, then becomes Korea¡¯s first woman president.

In this project, the role of ¡®Seo Hae Rim¡¯ went to Ko Hyung Jeong, and the role of the male lead ¡®Ha Ryu¡¯ went to Kwon Sang Woo.

In the project, Seo Ji Young portrays ¡®Kim Hyun Ah¡¯, daughter to Sanho Group, the 5th largest chaebol, CEO Kim Myung Hwan and wife to ¡®Kang Hyun Seok¡¯ (Cha In Pyo), whom she married for political reasons.

It is directed by Oh Jong Rok (Piano, Style) and has garnered much attention for its casting of Ko Hyun Jeong, Kwon Sang Woo, and Cha In Pyo.

Seo Ji Young returns to the TV screen three months after starring in another SBS drama, the morning drama Daring Woman.

SBS¡¯s Daemul is set to air on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning on October 6, as the successor to My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox.
