The Toronto Film Festival is an exclusive festival to which only a few of those projects competing at the Cannes Festival are invited. It is on a par with such big film festivals as the Cannes, Venice, and Berlin film festivals.

The Housemaid was screened with 15 other gala projects, including Francois Ozon’s Potiche and Robert Redford’s The Conspirator, once again proving that it is indeed a global success.

The Housemaid, which has received acclaim and attention from critics and viewers at the gala screening, has been invited to take part in the 46th Chicago International Film Festival.

Also, it is set to screen in such Asian countries as Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore and also in France in September. Also, it is set to screen in the US at the end of the year.
