Barry Osbourne, who produced The Matrix and Lord of the Rings, has signed on as a producer. It has been said that he had signed on after being impressed with the script written by Korean director Lee Seung Moo, an alumnus of NYU.

Along with Jang Dong Gun, the movie stars Geoffrey Rush from Pirates of the Caribbean, Kate Bosworth from Superman Returns, and Danny Huston from Robin Hood and Clash of the Titans.

The movie tells the story of the actions of the greatest warrior from the east crossing over the pacific and into a small, isolated Western town, and will showcase a new type of cinematography from the staff from Star Wars and Sin City.
