Seoul, Korea – Surrounded by the controversy of MC Mong’s apparent intentional avoidance of military duty, KBS-2TV’s Happy Sunday 1 Night 2 Days has been receiving interest with rumors that Lee Jung will be joining as the newest member.

Lee Jung recently was discharged after serving 22 months in the Korean Marine Corps on August 22.  Before going to the military, Lee Jung made a name for himself as a witty talker in many variety shows and in contrast to MC Mong, has been transparently clean all throughout his career.

Aside from him, old members of 1 Night 2 Days such as Ji Sang Ryeol and Kim Hyun Cheol have been speculated to return. There are also a number of fans who want Kim C to return.

Viewers have complained that the 5 member show is not working because of the various games and competitions and they have voiced that they would like to see a new member right away.

While the production crew of 1 Night 2 Days has mentioned that they will not cast MC Mong in any more episodes until his legal matters are concluded, they have avoided questions regarding the aftermath.
