Ko Hyun Jung was present at the press conference for Daemul on the 29th at the Lotte Hotel in Jamsil, Seoul, where she remarked ¡°My character, President Seo Hae Rim, says things that cannot be spoken in politics¡±, adding that ¡°viewers will be fully satisfied with that.¡±

Daemul (Writer Yoo Dong Yun, Director Oh Jong Rok, Cho Hyun Tak) portrays the story of Korea¡¯s first elected female president.

Ko Hyung Jung portrays ¡®Seo Hae Rim¡¯, a woman who is fired from her job as an announcer after protesting her husband¡¯s unfortunate death and finding herself on the path to the Parliament and into a politician.

Ko Hyun Jung said ¡°While the prospect of portraying a female president was daunting, it was nice to have a supportive director and cast during filming¡±, adding ¡°we ask for your anticipation.¡±

Recently having worked with younger male leads such as Cho In Sung, Kim Nam Gil and Chun Jeon Myung, Ko Hyun Jung responded jokingly to questions about working with ¡®hitched¡¯ men Kwon Sang Woo and Cha In Pyo with ¡°I am not picky. There¡¯s always a possibility and when a opportunity comes, I¡¯ll pounce.¡±

In this project, Kwon Sang Woo portrays ¡®Ha Do Ya¡¯, a passionate, unshakeable yet unpredictable prosecutor who is instrumental in making ¡®Seo Hae Rim¡¯ president.

Kwon Sang Woo said ¡°This isn¡¯t your regular stiff prosecutor but one who is fun and fresh that has never been seen on TV before, who is important in making Ko Hyung Jung president¡±, adding ¡°I think that Daemul has a very strong plot and story. Cheer us on.¡±

Along with Ko Hyun Jung and Kwon Sang Woo, SBS¡¯s new Wed/Thu drama Daemul also stars Cha In Pyo as ¡®Kang Tae San¡¯, who dreams of becoming the next president, and Lee Soo Kyeong, who portrays ¡®Jang Sae Jin¡¯ Chung Hwa Dae¡¯s curator.

Daemul is set to air on October 6 at 9:55 pm.
