How to solve women¡¯s depression, insomnia?


Seoul, Korea – Most people refer to fall as the season for men, where men fall into depression easily. However, according scientific research, there are more women compared to men who fall into depression during fall and winter.

It is not clear, but it would seem that the changes in women¡¯s hormones are the biggest reason for women¡¯s depression. Women naturally experience more changes mentally and psychologically with their periods, pregnancy and menopause. Because of these changes, fall is the season where women experience changes in their emotions and sleeping patterns, leading to easily being depressed.

When one does not get enough sleep, the heart beats faster, the chest feels pain and body heat rises. If these symptoms continue, one feels tired, sensitive and makes many mistakes, leading to disappointment and insecurity about one¡¯s self. All these things lead to depression.

There are many people who resort to drinking to solve their sleeping problems. However, this could lead to even more insomnia. As with depression, drinking a glass or two will inhibit one¡¯s sleep even further.

During fall, when the weather gets chilly and the immune system gets weakened, instead of alcohol, one should relieve depression and insomnia with some Chinese medicinal tea.
