This number easily tops that of that of its predecessor My Girlfriend is a Nine-tailed Fox.

On the same timeslot, The Fugitive Plan.B starring Rain and Lee Na Young aired and recorded a 18% rating as well, rendering the first battle between the two shows a draw.

However, this was a decrease in comparison to the first episode of The Fugitive which recorded a 20.7% rating, which, in addition with the premiere of Daemul with seasoned actors such as Ko Hyun Jung, Kwon Sang Woo and Cha In Pyo receiving critical acclaim from viewers, would seemingly lead to a very competitive duel in the Wed/Thu drama category.

Daemul, based on an animated story by Park In Kwon, portrays the story of ;’Seo Hae Rim’ (Ko Hyun Jung), a former announcer fired from her job protesting the unfortunate death of her husband, who through numerous events becomes elected as the first woman president of Korea.

Meantime, the rating for Playful Kiss, which aired at the same time, was stuck in single digits at 5.6%.
