Seoul, Korea – On the 8th, Define Egoism, a domestic clothing brand, announced that they are collaborating on a project with fashion icon Goo Jun Yeop.

Goo Jun Yeop will directly work with local budding designers for designing and showcasing a unique, fresh new Converse sneaker design. The collaboration will consist of Define Egoism’s designers making the custom design and Goo Jun Yeop will participate by working on the MATT design.

Custom design means a designer puts their own spin and unique senses unto a basic design. Making it trendy and detailed so that it does not get boring after time is another trait of this design method.

While custom design is still rare to the point where there are not that many designers who do it, it has become a favorite among celebrities such as Son Dan Bi, Park Ga Hee, Boa, Lee Seung Ki, Seo In Young, Lee Min Ho and ShineE, marking its rise as another fashion trend.

Meanwhile, Koo Jun Yeop and MATT are hosting an event on the Asobo webpage (www.asobo.co.kr) where they take the designs that the customers want on the products that they choose.
