Seoul, Korea – MC Yoo Jae Seok (38) has told his management company that he’s ending his contract with them for unpaid salaries.

In August, Yoo Jae Seok informed his management Storm E&F (former De Chocolate E&TF) to pay appearance fees that have been delayed. This memo included a statement that read that if payment is not made within 2 months, it will be understood as termination of contract. However, Yoo Jae Seok has informed the management company of his decision to leave when he did not receive the reaction that he wanted.

In May, Storm E&F were temporarily suspended of 8 billion won by creditors. Along with the economic instability, they had to drop out as producers of MBC’s Gold Fish, and it is uncertain whether they can pay the 500 million won appearance fees of Yoo Jae Seok.

Many celebrities such as Kang Ho Dong, Ko Hyun Jeong, Kang Soo Jeong, Kim Yong Man, Yoon Jong Shin, Park Ji Yoon, Park Sun Young, Song Eun Yi, Kim Tae Hyun, and Park Kyung Lim are represented by the company and many of them have said that they have not received appearance fees for almost three months.

Kim Yong Man and Yoon Jong Shin have notified the termination of their contracts as well, and it is know that Kang Ho Dong was not on the list of shareholders of the company who were notified.

There is more attention now given to what Yoo Jae Seok will do next. It remains to be seen whether he will run as a one man company, or if he will move to another management company.
