Choi Soo Jong and Ha Hee Rae have been cast as a couple in the KBS 2TV Wed/Thu drama President (director Kim Hyung Il), set to begin airing on December 8th. Choi Soo Jong is set to play the president ‘Jang Il Joon’ and Ha Hee Ra is set to portray first lady ‘Cho So Hee’.

Choi Soo Jong and Ha Hee Rae portrayed couples in movies and dramas during their high-teen star years in the 1980s and 1990s. But they have never worked together since their marriage in 1993, bringing that much more attention to this drama.

Choi Soo Jong, who is dubbed ‘the godfather of historical dramas’, is taking on a modern story for the first time in a while, making this a much anticipated role.
