Seoul, Korea – In a recent survey conducted by Levi¡¯s on women¡¯s jeans, about half of the approximately 1,000 respondents said that they had a difficult time finding jeans that fit their hips, waist, or thighs.
According to Levi¡¯s, eight out of ten women who answered the survey replied that they needed to try two to four pairs before purchasing a pair of jeans and 58 percent said that the jeans do not fit their body type.
Among Korean women, who are known for being particular about fit, two out of three replied that they have never worn a pair of jeans that fit them properly. Since they need to find a pair that fits their waist, women with big or very small hips cannot find jeans that fit properly.
On the flip side, seven out of ten women replied that if they could find a pair of jeans that fit properly, it would make them feel more confident and satisfied about their body.
Levi¡¯s will launch a new product in August, taking into consideration the requests of these women.
Levi¡¯s hopes that the new product will solve many of the diverse problems that have been bothering a lot of women, such as having to tighten their belts because the waist of the jeans is too big or flab protruding over the waist band because it¡¯s too small.
The new Levi¡¯s product line, set to mark another denim revolution, will be revealed on the 11th.
