Seoul, Korea – Boa’s (24) ‘stretch-out’ dance has been deemed controversial among netizens for being sexually explicit.

On the 3rd, Boa took the stage on SBS’s ‘Ingi Gayo’ to perform her song ‘Copy and Paste’ from her repackaged 6th album.

On the stage, Boa does a dance routine where she squats, stretches out her legs and gets back up, rousing netizens to complain about it being too sexual.

Netizens said “The audience is mostly teenagers and it was inappropriate”, adding that “the outfit was also very sexual”.

SM Entertainment, her management company, responded on the 4th saying “We never thought that it would be explicit”, adding that “it’s a charismatic dance and there are no plans to change it.”

Meanwhile, Boa, who made her comeback on August 6th with ‘Hurricane Venus’ will make a special appearance on the drama Athena: Goddess of War, set to air in December.
