At a production report meeting for the new musical – Gwanghwamun Love Song, – which was held on the afternoon of the 24th in the Seoul Plaza at Junggu, Seoul, he said, “Just to think that this is my first musical and that I’ll be performing with professionals in this field makes my heart pound. Not to cause any harm to those who will be playing with me, I’ll do my best – even twice or third times than others.”

The musical Gwanghwamun Love Song is a musical which consists of songs of the late composer Lee Yeong Hoon, and Song Chang Ui, Gim Mu Yeol, singer Yoon Do Hyeon will be playing it.

Yang Yo Seob added, “The only song of his I had known was “A Flaming Sunset.” I was told that the director cast me out of a wish to let the songs be known to a younger generation like me. Actually, I kind of felt burdened for there were too many songs I had not known. But I promise you that I’ll do what I could do.”

This musical has attracted more attention of the public when it became known that this piece is the one of which synopsis the composer had worked on even  till his death. The composer died at a young age of 48 on Feb. 14 in 2008.

Gwanghwamun Love Song, which had a three-year preparation, will be performed from Mar. 20th to Apr. 10th in the big theater at Sejong Center, Seoul.
