Seoul has a lot of different park programs in the winter vacation


Seoul, Korea – Seoul city will hold various programs in major parks in different districts in Seoul. This will last during January this winter.

In Seoul Forest Park located in Seongsudong in Seongdonggu, a Letter-Writing Program, an Open Crafts-Making Program will be opened and permanently held as Community Center courses. At Green Atelier, kids will be able to try barbola and miniature, and a Fables Tree Class will also be opened for those on vacation.

Exciting Game School, a special winter program, will have kids experience the joy of playing using mass games like Jeollae Nori, Jayeon Nori, and Saengtae Nori and raise their awareness of environmental problems such as the climate change and the garbage problem through Juvenile Conservationists activities. At Gildong Ecological Park in Gangdonggu, the Ecological School, an Observation Class will be opened and Nature and Water Atelier, a Love Earth Design Class, and Ecology Exhibition will be hosted.

At Boramae Park in Dongjakgu, Ice Sled will be opened from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. till the end of January. At the World Cup Park in Sangamdong, Environment Experience for Child, Jayeon Nori, Saturday Family Experience, Hanji Experience, the Accessory-Making class using Silver Grass and Rice Straw, The Red Clay Story will be held.

At Yeouido Park, the Microscope Examination class, the Ecology and Forest Observation class will be opened. The Winter Trip to the Forest, the History Trip to the Jangchung area will be held at Namsan Park, and a class titled History Trip to Naksan at Naksan Park in Jongnogu.

Gim Gwang Rye, the green city planning director in Seoul City said, ¡°There¡¯s no reason that people shouldn¡¯t come out in the park in winter. Riding a sled and skating in cold air and taking part in different programs will bring you sound body and mind. I¡¯ll try my best to hold various programs all the time in many different parks.¡±
