Seoul, Korea – Actress Lee Na Young has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming KBS 2 TV series Fugitive.

The production team of Fugitive announced on the 16th, “Lee Na Young has been cast as the female lead, Jin.”  This will be her first TV series since MBC’s Island six years ago in 2004.

The drama Fugitive has already received much attention by casting singer and actor Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) as the male lead and with a production staff that includes Kwak Jung Hwan as producer-director and Cheon Sung Il, known for his work on Chuno, as writer. The drama will be about two men and a woman who are after a huge amount of money that disappeared in the Korean War.

Lee Na Young’s character, Jin, will suddenly appear in front of Ji Woo (played by Jung Ji Hoon). Jin is a mysterious woman who has both an innocent and a sexy side.

Lee’s agency said, “We decided on this project because of the high level of quality of the script, and the female lead character stands out well with a fresh, unusual magnetism.”

Fugitive will start filming in the middle of this month in Seoul and is set to air in late September.
